The Publicity Meeting of AVS+ Implementation Guide was held in Xiamen. More than 200 experts from radio, film and television bureaus, TV stations, network companies and large and medium-sized electronic information enterprises across the country attended the meeting. Wang Xiaojie, Director of the Science and Technology Department of the State Administration of Press, Publication, Radio, Film and Television, said at the meeting that the Science and Technology Department would cooperate with the Electronics Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology to jointly accelerate the application and industrialization of the AVS+ standard, promote the construction of the industrial chain, and promote the completion of the industrial upgrading and updating based on the independent technical standard AVS+. Hu Yan, Inspector of the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said that in the next step, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology would continue to promote the industrialization of the AVS+ standard, as well as the application deployment of AVS+ standard in the fields of satellite transmission and distribution, live satellite, terrestrial TV, and cable television.
